A tougher, safer new range of tipper trailers that exhibits our hallmark quality and stable towing performance.
With ‘tough and safe’ defined as the key design goals, our engineers first brought the bed height down to help loading and tow-ability, then steel lined the deck for durability and low stick. The new range is also fitted with heavy duty electric hydraulic tipping equipment and has a remote control which allows the operator to stand back and safely view the drop zone. Finally, the design allows for the two loading ramps to be placed side by side, helping wheelbarrow loaders operate more efficiently and safely. Ramps are also designed for easily loading heavy machinery.
But making trailers tough doesn’t have to mean making them heavy; by choosing a very high grade steel, the designers have made the chassis stronger and lighter- which means more load capacity.

Special feature - NEW step sides
Robust steps make it safe and easy to step from trailer to ground. The non-slip surface provides grip even when wet. Front steps are tapered to protect pedestrians and cyclists from potential contact with the trailer wheels.

Hydraulic tipping trailers are available 2.5m, 2000Kg gross weight, and 3.0m long with gross weights 26000Kg and 3500Kg.

Standard equipment includes 30cm deep steel sides, a hand pump on Model 202H and 12volt electric hydraulic pumps on 263H and 353H. A battery box is provided, but no battery. Longer leads can be supplied with a 2 pin plug, to plug directly into a heavy duty socket on the towing vehicle as an alternative.

Optional equipment is available similar to the platform trailers, but a ramp carrier cannot be fitted to Model 202H.

The Wessex TP Series of Tipper Trailers is designed and manufactured for professional use.

These robust and durable trailers offer a versatile means for transporting loose or bulky materials, especially when a quick unload is required. Optional mesh side extensions or double height drop-sides can be specified for use with low volume products such as bark or leaves.

The top and bottom chassis are both fully-welded with box-section cross-members and external rope hooks, and are hot-dip galvanised. The design keeps the load height low and ensures strength without excess weight; combined with Avonride full beam "Softride" suspension axles and Bradley cast couplings, the TP series provide safe towing and stability whether laden or unladen.

Profiled aluminium drop-sides offer exceptional longevity, even with abrasive loads. They increase payload and give unrestricted access on 3 sides, making for quick and easy loading, even by forklift truck.
